Teresa in OR
We study French, but my dd (13) would like a taste of Spanish too. Can anyone recommend a United Streaming Spanish program? It would pretty much just be for exposure at this point, as we don't have time to formally add another language to our schedule this year. Thank you! Cindyg
Elementary Spanish. Same cool instructor. This is a brand-new program, so maybe not a lot of people here have tried it. We're only up to the fourth grade in Elementary Spanish, so we haven't tried it. But we like ES, and we plan to continue on to the 8th grade. To see if you have other options in United Streaming (now called Discovery Education), go to Advanced Search, and type in "Spanish," then choose Grades 6-8. You'll just have to weed through all the returns to see if there's anything besides Educacion Espanola.

kRenee
can watch anything you want. I have my kids doing grade 5/6 and it is pretty easy/introductory. Your dd could easily watch a couple of lesson per day and not be overwhelmed. I have been watching Educacion Espanola those lessons are packed with information with the expectation that you are practicing between lessons. There is a big leap from level 5/6 to 7/8. Hen
I'm glad you asked, I was meaning to ask this question- my daughter gave up on Russian, so we are going to pick back up with Spanish, we just got United Streaming a few months ago, thanks for the info.
