Teacher's Lodge ~ 12/15/11

Good morning!

It's almost 9am here and I have no idea what's for breakfast, let alone lunch!

Plans for the day: meet a friend for coffee, hopefully wrap up some schooling with the kids, finish making Christmas cards, send out a few, and God-willing, to get a return phone call from a stubborn college friend! :tongue_smilie:

yes, I know how close Christmas is. My distance family may be getting their Christmas extended. :D

Good morning, Lodge visitors! It is Thursday and time for a quick check-in! Good morning, Mama, and good to see you too, Scrap!

What's on the "menu" for today? Breakfast is my usual 2 eggs and an everything bagel thin but I'm adding a chilled V-8 to my menu. Lunch will be a salad with protein - I think. I have to do a refrigerator inventory. Dinner - I have no idea. Dh was making noises about how good chicken and dumplings are (hint, hint) but I would have to find a way to make them without any dairy (or with almond milk).

What are your plans for today? Today is a "buckle down and get back into routine after being gone for a week" day.

How are your "holiday" preparations coming? Do you realize that Christmas is less than a week and a half away??!?! Ack! Do you have any paper bags that I can breathe into? Today I'm working on our Christmas newsletter. We send it out to over a 100 people and if I don't send it, I get complaints. I usually send it out at the beginning of December. Can you tell that I'm late?!

Good morning!

What's on the "menu" for today?

Breakfast was granola, flax and berries. Lunch will be pb&apples. Dinner will be tacos.

What are your plans for today?

Today, I'm working and going for a run; we're decorating the tree, doing the short version of school (math plus reading), making gf cookies, going to judo, then going to a Christmas thing tonight.

How are your "holiday" preparations coming? Do you realize that Christmas is less than a week and a half away??!?

Shopping is all done; presents are mostly wrapped; decorations are going up; the holiday meal is even planned. We're all ready.

Good Morning!

Well, between the kids knowing that Christmas break starts tomorrow, and the fact that it was 50 degrees yesterday...nothing is getting accomplished here! I have spring fever  and want to go play outside and my kids want to run in circles and shake their presents. :tongue_smilie: I think we might start Christmas break TODAY and then end our break early, lol.
