I can find the average (median) of individuals, but not what range of income most individuals make. knowing that a few extremely high incomes can skew an average, I would really like to know the mode. LMA Posted December 13, 2011 Share Posted December 13, 2011 When you file your income tax return electronically, somewhere in the paperwork, there is a percentile of where your income falls. Mind you this is AGI. Here is another link that tells you where people fall based on tax returns. You can figure out from the table where most people fall. You won't get an individual mode income though.
