Just Kate
My dh started a new job where he is out of town during the week (Sunday night through Friday night). I would like to get him something for Christmas that would make his hotel stays a little easier. Any suggestions?
Guest submarines
My dh started a new job where he is out of town during the week (Sunday night through Friday night). I would like to get him something for Christmas that would make his hotel stays a little easier. Any suggestions? Is aromatherapy too girly? Would be nice to re-set this typical hotel smell. A small bedside humidifier. Every hotel I've been to had extremely dry air.
Jan in SC
What about this? It is a silk sack and pillowcase to put in hotel sheets.
Tap
How is his luggage? New suitcase or garment bag? Subscription to Netflix or Audible.com eReader Magazine subscription (dh likes The Economist which comes weekly and the subscription includes paper and online)
UnsinkableKristen
A really nice toiletry bag? LL Bean has great ones.
justasque
I always thought these trays were cool. You can put your change, etc. into them, and they unsnap so they fit in your luggage. Where does he eat? Would a nice set of cutlery and bowl/plate make things nicer when he eats in the room? Anything laundry-wise to make that chore easier? MtnTeaching
Will he be staying in the same hotel every week or will he be traveling to different areas? If he is in the same hotel, he may be able to put a few things in their storage, especially if he winds up being in one of those long-term type hotels like a Residence Inn. jar7709
Something to make the hotel more 'homey'? Like, small framed pictures of the family or a cozy blanket or smaller-sized packages of homemade food? Oh, and once in a while I travel for work and I like to bring a folding travel Ott-light to read or stitch by because hotel lighting is often insufficient or inconvenient. aggieamy
A really nice toiletry bag? LL Bean has great ones. This is a good suggestion. What does he like to do with his free time? If he's a reader I'd go with an eReader so he doesn't have to carry books all over the place and worry about library fines.
dsmama
My husband brought a white-noise alarm clock when he stayed at hotels for work. This. When I traveled a lot, the white noise machine was my friend.
