heidip2p
Is there such a thing? Would love to find a middle school science that dd can learn something from but enjoy as well. Any suggestions?

Halcyon
Rainbow Science. :) An excellent middle school program. Not secular, however, correct? (I don't know whether the OP cares, but I sure wish it was secular-it looks great)
AimeeM
Secular, Evolution, Creationist? It matters when making science recommendations. Rainbow is, I believe, Creation based. We are Theistic Evolution (not Creationists) and we are very much enjoying Ellen McHenry's science. We are using Elements. We plan to stick with it. My only sadness comes in that she doesn't have anything for Physics... which my Physics degree holding husband finds a bit important :tongue_smilie: If anyone has any suggestions for Physics, similar in format to Ellen McHenry, let me know. Not RS4Ks. That was a total and complete flop here.
Sweet Home Alabama
Exploration Education... physical science in a box! This has been a blast for my boys in 3rd and 6th. They are using the advanced version, but they are only required to do days 1-3. They read through and do days 4-5 when they understand it and can do them. Dh, a mechanical engineer, helps with harder projects, and all of the guys (dad and boys) have a wonderful time together. http://www.explorationeducation.com/
