BMW
I am putting a slide show to music... my favorite pictures from this first year of my grandson's life... and I want a very special song... But, whenever I decide to do these things, my mind goes blank... All that comes to mind is "La la looo, La la looo, oh, my little star sweeper, I'll sweep the stardust for you..... La la looo, la la looo, oh, my soft fluffy keeper, here comes a pink cloud for you.... La la loo, la la loo, oh my wandering angel, fold up your wings for tonight.... la la looo, la la looo, and may love be your keep, la la loo... la la looo.... la la looo...." And that's just not quite good enough... Suggestions??

Quill
I rather like Lalaloo. It's quite pretty. My son has a Kindermusik CD with "El Coqui" on it. It is one of my favorites, but only that particular version. If you don't like Lalaloo, you probably won't like a tree frog lullaby. :tongue_smilie:
Lucy in Australia
For some reason, I was always drawn to "You Are My Sunshine" in the first years of my babies' lives. Something very special about that time :001_wub:
Chris in VA
If just a little older child, then I'd say Watercolor Ponies. Maybe it would work?
Bensmom
I love the music to the Dumbo lullaby, Baby of Mine. (Yep, Dumbo as in the movie) You may want to listen to it all the way through to determine if you would want words or just the music. It has a beautiful lullaby sound. My hubbie just bought me a cd of celtic lullabies b/c he knows I enjoy that song so much.....and the celtic ladies do a fantastic job :001_smile: Hope that helps. Your project sound really neat. dragons in the flower bed
"And I love your silly expressions and your different point of view, and I wish that I could be like you. And when we're walking down the street, walkin' hand in hand, we're having so much fun, and when the day is done, I tell you I'm so glad that you're my son." is another old favorite for singing to my sons. Alte Veste Academy
The Moment I Saw You from this cd. Makes me weepy and want to cradle my babies every time I hear it. I like the whole album. Irish Lullaby is great too. Edited December 11, 2011 by Alte Veste Academy

Hannah C.
"Lullaby" by the Dixie Chicks is what I would probably use. It's a beautiful slow song.

Forget-Me-Not
"Baby Mine" (yeah the one from Dumbo, but Allison Kraus does a really beautiful rendition of it) I was also going to recommend the Dixie Chicks 'Lullaby' too.
