Please help me find these pajamas!

Recommended Posts

I want to buy a sleep set for each of my boys - I'd like it to be lounge pants with a matching tshirt, preferably short sleeved. I would prefer cotton but understand it's hard to find non flame retardant so I would take polyester in the pants. Any idea where to find this? I've been looking everywhere!

A lot of things out there right now are long-sleeve. I loved LL Beans winter jammies for my kids.

As for short sleeves - there are a few 3-piece sets at JC Penney that have the pants (polyester), with both a matching long-sleeve and short-sleeve in the set.

They are Arizona boys pajama sets with Monster trucks, football, dinosaurs, or skateboards on the front. They also have packs with just two lounge pants in them - you could find solid colored cotton tees to match. (Sorry, I accidently shut the link before putting it in here, but you would just need to go to JC Penney site and look for boys Arizona pajamas.)

(Not sure how old the kids are you are looking for.)

so if they are made of polyester they won't be flame retardant?? I never knew that. I need to find new PJ's for my kids and prefer to stay away from the flame retandant stuff, but it is hard. Thanks.

Have you tried googling for "lounge pants"? That is more likely to pull up cotton or flannel pants in which a child could, theoretically, fall sleep, if said child's mother were willing to risk having her child spontaneously combust. ;) Anyway, if they are sold as lounge pants, they do not have to be either flame retardant poly or "close-fitting," i.e., teeny, cotton. Do your boys have a favorite sports team? I orderd my son a pair of flannel Chicago Cubs "lounge pants," and paired them with a solid t-shirt from Target or Old Navy.

Most of the chain stores sell sleep sets (shirt and lounge pants). We have some from Gap and Old Navy.

My favorite sleepwear is from Garnet Hill. The pants are an incredibly soft and comfortable flannel and the shirts are cotton. Also, they are sold separately so we normally buy the shirts a size or two larger so that they are loose as my kids don't really like the skin tight fit that pajama shirts normally have (due to regulations for children's sleepwear).
