ktgrok
I want to easily add in some church history and such to our SOTW studies. We are doing Middle Ages this year. Would the VP cards allow me to do that? Is each card a separate event with info? Or how do they work? Could i pick out the cards I want to use and forget the rest? Mandy in TN
From the Veritas website: "Middle Ages, Renaissance and Reformation Flashcards. Thirty-two major events chronologically from Saint Augustine to John Knox in Scotland." Is each card a separate event with info? Yes, each card is a separate event with a snippit of info on the back and references for further research at the bottom. Obviously, from the quote above you will have a card on Saint Augustine and a card on John Knox, but not all of the cards will be church history. Mandy in TN
A couple of years ago my middle ds used Christian History Made Easy: 13 Weeks to a Better Understanding of Church History. I think this may work for a 12yo and it will just be church history. Anyway, something to check out. HTH- Mandy

We are Episcopal, and I have a hard time finding things that are not to anti catholic for us, or anti protestant.

Ds used Christian History Made Easy a couple of years ago and I do not remember it being overtly anti-Catholic. However, I am not Catholic, so any anti-Catholic writing would probably have gone over my head unless it was pretty blatant. Mandy
