thowell Posted December 8, 2011 Share Posted December 8, 2011 (can't believe I misspelled the title and can't fix it) I swear I know how to spell. I just don't type very well. Ok so dd11 used Winston Grammar this year and is finishing it up. While it was ok, I can't say I am completely satisfied with her retention or application. I am also just finding out that there are other areas, such as clauses, that it does not cover. So, I have R&S 5 on my shelf. We started it last year and she hated it. Of course, I now wish I had toughed it out. So how can I speed things up to finish it out before the end of the year. We school full time until June. 5LittleMonkeys Posted December 8, 2011 Share Posted December 8, 2011 If you go through and omit all of the writing lessons and lessons on how to use a telephone and dictionary skills (these are near the back)...you might also be able to combine many of the first few lessons of each unit, you should have NO trouble going through it in 6 months.
