scrapbookbuzz
I have a 7yo son with wide feet. We have tried Payless, DSW, SAS, to no avail. Anyone have experience with this and lead me to a store where I can find: *wide shoes *if velcro, with a long velcro strap *preferably not with shoestrings? Thanks! caedmyn
Shoebuy. Huge selection, free shipping, and free return shipping if they don't fit. Plus they always have a coupon code for 15-20% off.
prairiewindmomma
Stride Rite carries extra extra wide shoes.
Mommy_of_4
Stride Rite!

starwarsmomma
Nordstroms! Let me say, I NEVER shop at Nordstroms, but I have 3 boys with EXTRA wide feet... Think of fred flinstone feet. LOL Nordsstroms sells the best wide boys shoes and they usually have such great sales, I can do better than Stride rite stores (and they sell stride rite!) scrapbookbuzz
joyfulheart, well then, technically, you DO shop at Nordstrom! ;) And since I'm always looking for an excuse to go there, looks like my son and I will be heading there this week! Thanks!
HeidiKC
Stride Rite, Nordstroms. My boys were also able to wear New Balance in the Wide size. And I think my 7yo just outgrew a pair of Wide Nike's. He has very wide feet.
SKL
I gave up long ago on trying to find wide shoes in stores. I buy almost all of our shoes online now. Wherever you go online, you can search for just shoes that come in W. I've always managed to find what I'm looking for that way (for myself, too). Mommyof4ks
Stride Rite carries extra extra wide shoes. These are the only shoes that fit ds before age 6.
soonermomma
My oldest was born with club feet and had really wide feet. New Balance Wides are the best/most comfortable tennis shoe we have found to fit her.
greenvneck
Another vote for Stride Rite. If you don't have a dedicated SR store, Nordstrom is probably your best bet.
Laura Corin
Clarks has children's shoes in many widths, but I don't know what's available outside the UK. Start Rite is similar. Laura
