Janie Grace
I have a large container of local raw honey and I put it into a smaller plastic bottle to use. I haven't had a problem til now -- it's really hard to pour. How do you get your honey nice and liquidy :) again?
JumpedIntoTheDeepEndFirst
Put your container in a bowl of hot water before using?
Mommyfaithe
Yep....I put it in a bowl or just run it under the hot faucet.

lcelmer
That's why I now re-bottle mine into canning jars as soon as I buy it.... you can then microwave it which seems to be much faster to me. :-) Beside, they look prettier than a yukky old plastic jug. :D

Don't microwave it as you will kill some of the beneficial enzymes and other nutrients!!
Miselainia
After buying mine, I transfer it to canning jars. As I get close to finishing a quart, I put the next jar in a saucepan filled with water and then bring the water to a boil and let it simmer until the honey is all liquefied again. lcelmer
Ack! Don't microwave it as you will kill some of the beneficial enzymes and other nutrients!! well, I don't actually buy the fancy stuff, just regular, I didn't notice the detail on the original post till now. Doesn't matter to me if it is raw still. Just that it isn't a rock. :-P The glass is great for the water method too, you can use hotter water, without worrying about heating up plastic. kandty
Well, now I feel silly and have wasted a lot of honey. I thought the honey had gone bad and always throw it away once it gets "hard". At least I know now!:tongue_smilie:
Miss Cornelia Snook
My neighbor in Phoenix would put her honey buckets on her roof to liquify!
OrganicAnn
And of course - don't put honey in the refrigerator. It is funny the little things you learn.
