Halcyon
I am looking through the various editions, and wondering which one others use, and which one has the most readily-available answer key? Thanks!
elegantlion
I ordered this edition because of the availability of the answer key. I think I found the actual book on amazon and ordered the key from Emmanuel Books.
Halcyon
Thank you! I just realized Seton Homeschool has an answer key too.
JudyJudyJudy
That particular one is the only one I know of with a readily available answer key; it was really intended for ninth grade. We're using the "first course" (1982 edition), but I don't have an answer key. Last year we used the "introductory course" (1988 edition), but I didn't have an answer key for it, either. Capt_Uhura
Judy do you know which grade the First Course was intended for?
....
I've looked at Warriner's, too and I think the First Course is 7th grade. I very well may be wrong. I also thought Kolbe sold it at one time, but I can't find it on their website.
Halcyon
What I actually want to get is the Complete Course, either this one or an earlier edition....is there an answer key available to that anywhere? ETA: Okay, I see this but WHEW, the price!!
Capt_Uhura
AH yes, that's the one I have, "The Complete Course." I usually use my friends or WTM forum for ones I'm stumped on. The price for that teacher's manual is outrageous.

Dee in MI
You probably could. The concepts are pretty clearly spelled out. I recommend that you get a cheap used copy of either Third Course or the Complete Course from whenever and look at it. I have copies of both, and I'd feel comfortable using them without a teacher's manual.
