mlktwins
Hi all! I left my voting sticker on my favorite fleece jacket and put it in the washer and dryer. I would like to know if anyone had advice on getting the sticker residue off without ruining the jacket. It is a short fleece -- not a big fluffy fleece -- north face jacket. It is black. I have done a google search and found some tips. Some mentioned freezing the jacket and using a pilling tool (is that the correct term?). Some mentioned goo gone. I can't find my bottle of that to see what it says about it going in the washer after I use goo gone. The smell of it is so strong. Any other tips or experience would be much appreciated. I can tell you I won't be accepting my "I Voted" sticker the next time I vote :-). TIA!
ondreeuh
Use goo-gone, and then handwash with dishwashing liquid to get the goo-gone out. Then throw it in the washing machine. Fleece can be washed in the washing machine just fine, just don't wash with towels or other "lint givers." If you can't find or borrow goo-gone, you could try a little vegetable oil on the sticker residue, but that will probably leave more oily residue than goo-gone.
