Veritaserum
Dd3 and Dd5 have both got the virus dd7 had last week. The main symptoms are extreme fatigue, fever, and upset stomach. Dd7 threw up twice last week. She was fine within about 36 hours of onset. She slept most of that time. Dd5 threw up a couple of hours ago and has a fever of 101.9. She is sleeping. Dd3 has been sleeping off and on for the past nine hours. She has a fever of 101.1, but her pulse is 190. She says she's not sick; she's just tired. She's alert, drinking water from a sippy cup, and is just snuggling with me. Her pulse just seems so fast. Is this normal?
redsquirrel
I believe a fast pulse is part of the package with a fever. But, whenever I feel my kids pulse it fees crazy fast to me so I am prob not much help. But I am sorry your kidlets are sick. I hope you don't get it. J-rap
I remember when my kids were young, they ALWAYS had a rapid heartbeat with a fever. Hope they feel better soon!

Veritaserum
Thanks for the reassurance. Dd3 is dozing again, but she's fussing. Long night ahead. Hopefully this bug will die quickly.
plain jane
Thanks for the reassurance. Dd3 is dozing again, but she's fussing. Long night ahead. Hopefully this bug will die quickly. Sorry to hear they are sick and I hope you're able to avoid it. Being sick stinks but being sick while pregnant is just the absolute pits. :grouphug:
Veritaserum
Both little girls seem to be feeling a lot better this morning. :) I think I might have what they have, though. I slept a lot with dd3 yesterday and feel a little more nauseated than usual. :tongue_smilie: This too shall pass....
