Tohru
If you tore your perineum after birthing your baby and did not get stitches, did it heal naturally? If so, about how long did it take and when did you begin having teA again? If it didn't heal, what did you do?
jelbe5
Healed well . . . about 4-6 weeks (memory is fuzzy).
Tohru
Any one else? I went to my last midwife appointment yesterday and opted to not get checked, but now am kicking myself because everything seems/feels wrong after our 1st teA since the baby. My midwife hasn't returned my text and I'm wondering what to do or what my options are.
Veritaserum
It depends on how severe it was. "Skid marks" heal within 2-3 weeks. If you had a tear that could have been sutured and wasn't, you need to keep your legs together and expect a longer time recovering. No tEa until you're healed in either case. :grouphug:
