NotSoObvious
Is a breadmaker like a crockpot where I can leave the house? We were excited to use it, so we put all the ingredients in and turned it on, only to realize we want to go out to dinner in the meantime. Thanks! redsquirrel
I do all the time. But, will you be back in good time? My machine keeps the fresh bread warm for up to one hour. If your doesn't and the bread will be sitting and cooling in the machine it will get soggy from the condensation of the steam.
clementine
I leave mine too, but make sure I'm home when it's almost done or within 15 min. of done. The tops of my loaves get a little moist when left in much longer than that. :)
NotSoObvious
Phew! Thanks! We'll be back when it's done, and it will keep it warm for an hour if we are late.
