Carrie75
I knew a Bethany in college whose sister's name was Tirzah. I also like the name Rachel. BTW --- she was Bethany Joy. I just remembered because we share the same middle name. I like these suggestions. I am surprised you don't have a Rachel yet!

Osmosis Mom
I think 'Maryam' looks terribly classy. No, my daughter's name is not Maryam. :tongue_smilie: Rosie Well, Maryam and Mariam are the Arab translations of Mary. Very common Muslim name! I noticed the name Selah mentioned several times; I have a dd whose name is Silla (from the Arab word Salah, prayer, and the meaning of the name is being close to God). Sorry to digress... Guest Mommabunny4
I always liked the name Selah Ward has. Selah is put at the end of psalm passages. It is no different than calling your daughter melody or chordata (LOL). It is definitely better than Aquanetta ( real name for some poor little girl). You could look up the meaning. I used grace, faith, patience and Joy for middle names. Hope would be a great name for a little girl. Selah Hope. I might use that if I have a fifth daughter. By the way this is my first post on the hive! yeehah! Nikki Hare Mother to 4 wonderful little hares
