Bang!Zoom!
Whatever is coming is coming within 45 days of today for moving who knows where or what...but I know it's not going to be here. We'll be moving...somewhere. They said, "We'll try not to do anything over the holiday period." Jan. 1st is going to be wicked for a new year. There's a .0002% chance we'll end up in New Mexico. I have the flu. Temp is high. I had to tell my family back East I can't come home due to the costs and unknown right now. We are losing a patriarch back there, nearly all the family from the US all over has flown home to see him & the family through to the end. He's a pretty revered dude. So I'm homesick, actually sick and worried to pieces on another educational move. Advice is welcome. So are those stupid :grouphug: icons. WAH. Bang!Zoom!
My school allotment still has about 800 in it. I think I better put in an order for consumable materials...this would be materials which are used up and not given back to the ALE like a textbook would. I might be able to put it in and receive it before we go. Might as well use the money up.

jenbrdsly
At least you don't have to battle the airlines this year. :) :grouphug::grouphug:
Bang!Zoom!
Yep, we sure aren't....we normally go to Hawaii for Christmas, but we've cancelled everything hinging on the news....whatever it is. Four years of this game and I just can't get used to it. The Los Alamos big-fat-maybe....thing...is for a 5-7 year assignment. That would be a lifetime for me after going month to month for this long. That's so scary I can't even hope it's so big. I just want to go to sleep, wake me up when it's a for-sure thing...and I don't really care where it falls, just so I know where we're going. I think about my Mom a lot lately. Now that woman raised 5 kids in a war-time deal...lived all over the world....drop of the hat changes...and had to sleep every night and live every waking day knowing her husband was at "work"...and sometimes had to live with live bombs dropping out of the sky around her home....but... He was being shot at you know? Not some cushy office job, but actual ground troop hand to hand combat. If my mom was still around, she'd say I'm a big baby and grow the heck up...this ain't nothing...

Living with instability is mentally exhausting. Some people seem wired to really enjoy it. Most people don't.
