Halcyon
They're Youtube videos, but when you go to his site, you can't play them? But youtube works fine. Ideas?
Halcyon
Meant to clarify-you can watch them directly from youtube, but not embedded on his site? Not a huge deal, just wondering why.

Halcyon
Turns out you can view them from Youtube (just go to the Khan Academy channel and they're all there-DS watched two on his Fire this morning) but when they're "embedded" as they are on khanacademy.com, they don't show up. I would let Amazon know, because they seem to be willing to make whatever they can available to users. They may not know about that glitch. Frontier Mom
I suspect it is the compression they use to put it on the site.
RegGuheert
I suspect it is the compression they use to put it on the site.Me, too. The embedding of Flash video is done using Adobe Flash Player and it sounds like there may be a bug in how that is being handled by the cloud browser. Can you try disabling "Accelerated page loading" in the browser options and try again? (I would try it, but MomsintheGarden's Kindle Fire is still wrapped in pink paper waiting to be opened this morning.)
RegGuheert
Kindle Fire people-why can't i see Khan Academy videos on the Fire? They're Youtube videos, but when you go to his site, you can't play them? But youtube works fine. Ideas? I tried it here. No problem seeing or playing the videos directly at http://www.khanacademy.org using the Kindle Fire. Did you update to the latest version of the software when you got the device? If I do Gear->More...->Device->System Version I see Current Version: 6.1_user_2017120. The "Update Your Kindle" button next to that is greyed, and I will assume that means it is up-to-date.
