Quiver0f10
I saw the ENT today for my dizziness and that was the BP reading the nurse took. I asked the doctor and he said it was probably a faulty machine but didn't retest. That just seems off to me?
Rebecca VA
It's probably in the very low normal range. It's no wonder you're dizzy. Did the doctor give you any advice or a diagnosis?
Crissy
102 is in the low-normal range, but the 89 is considered borderline high. I wonder why they wouldn't re-test.
Shawna in Texas
Mine is usually 95-105/65-75. The only thing that looks funny to me is the second number looks a little higher than you'd normally see with a first number that low...but honestly I don't know if that matters and if it does, what it means. I'd stop at a Walgreens or another drugstore (I think even Walmart and Target) and check it again. Do you know what your BP is usually? Quiver0f10
He didn't seem concerned. I typically have low BP but the last time I was tested it was high for me, but again the doctor(different dr than today) didn't seen concerned. Crissy
Mine is usually 95-105/65-75. My husband has lowish pressure like that. I'm envious. Without medication mine runs 190/110.
Pamela H in Texas
It doesn't seem odd to me at all really. Like another poster mentioned, usually the second number wouldn't be so high (borderline) with that top number; but the top number isn't really low by any means either. Hopefully, you're second number will come down.
Laurie4b
A diastolic reading of 90 is high, so 89 is right up there. When you go to Walmart or a drug store, use their machine. They are usually pretty accurate. If you get a repeat of the diastolic being that high, I would talk with your GP.
Whereneverever
It seems a little mismatched. Mine is normally around 90/60 and the docs don't seem overly concerned.
