Amber in SJ
Have you seen this? http://news.yahoo.com/milwaukee-runs-provocative-ads-wake-parents-dangers-co-213117311.html;_ylt=Ar__vHfscMAakR7airr5k0fxh7l_ Seriously? I know it is unsafe to co-sleep with your baby if you are drunk, high, or heavily medicated, but how do they explain other countries who have a higher incidence of co-sleeping and a lower incidence of SIDS? Ridiculous. Amber in SJ

mommymilkies
I have foul words for them. St.Louis has a similar ad campaign.
SailorMom
We have bilboards here in Pensacola - same idea. I think it is way over the top.
redsquirrel
That is ridiculous. There are ways to co-sleep safely and unsafely. A baby can be in a crib safely and unsafely. Yes, lets create an atmosphere of fear and criminality so that peds. can't talk to families about safe co-sleeping. Because that will help educate people. Pretty in Pink
I think they are confusing suffocation with SIDS. Babies that die during co-sleeping are, by and large, suffocating. If cribs are the safest place to sleep then how do they explain the third world nations with lower infant mortality rates? Those babies aren't sleeping in cribs, they are co-sleeping.
