SunshineMom
We are already learning Latin but my dd8 would like to learn an additional language. Suggestions? I ask this with a tremendous amount of trepidation with regards to my ability. DD8 wants to live in Africa and be a vet in a wildlife refuge center when she is older but is concerned that she would need to speak their language. Would that be French or Swahili or? I am willing to pursue this however would easily drop it if her interest wanes. This kid is always pushing/streching me to give her more! :glare: Edited November 15, 2011 by Jewel
C_l_e_0..Q_c
I would go with French, since it will "cover" more African countries. However it would not reach everyone in each of those countries. Mission Monde seems perfect for you, if you are ok with a religious program. SunshineMom
Thank you, I will look into the program. I have also posted in the General Forum as well.
EthiopianFood
I agree, French would reach the most countries in Africa, although nothing will reach everyone. I think I counted over 40 African countries with French as a major language? I'm too lazy to double check. ;)
