elegantlion
We made it through Simply Einstein and started watching The Elegant Universe today. One concept they talked about was the electro magnetism holding matter together. He used the concept of what we'd get hurt if we fell off a building. So ds's question is about electronics. Obviously you're not supposed to get magnets around electronics. He figured that out at a young age by putting a magnet on the TV. The purple splotch eventually went away. Anyway, he wonders if there is any evidence about electronics lasting longer dependent upon what kind of surface you place them on. In there a difference in a wooden, plastic, glass, or metal surface? :bigear:
