trlt
We are about to start RS4K -Pre-Level 1 Chemistry and I thought it would be laid out as to what I am supposed to do but now I'm confused. This is our first introduction to science. I hadn't planned on science until next year since dd is so young but she has been requesting science so I decided to just go with it. Anyway, did I just miss something about how to schedule out what to do when? What I mean is do I read the text with dd one day and then do experiments the next? Is it laid out and I just overlooked it?
MyLittleBears
The prelevel is very basic. We were able to read the chapter together and then follow it up with the experiment to illustrate the concept. You can flesh is out with other related reading from the library or do each topic(Chem, Bio, Physics) over 30 weeks if you did one lesson per week. Level one does get a bit meatier. We tend to use these RS4K as a "spine" and add to each lesson via extra readings or experiments. Aside from doing lesson 1 first followed by lesson 2, etc., I don't think each subject is meant to be laid out in any particular way. The only thing recommended on her website is doing chem first followed by bio, then physics. You could also follow the WTM suggestion. hth some.
