Guest immom2kr
I need help! How do you submit your course descriptions? I thought this information would be with the homeschooling supplement but I don't see a place to add any such info. Can it be part of the transcript downloading the official transcript and course desripction as one document. Thanks
Brigid in NC
A single pdf. That's what we did a few years ago. It was tricky, and I don't remember how I did it (because the transcript was portrait, and the course descriptions landscape), but I created a single pdf that contained the one-page transcript, followed by the course descriptions. Good luck! ~Brigid
creekland
We downloaded our own transcript (didn't use the homeschool supplement area for the transcript), but I never included course descriptions. We didn't have any unusual courses and my guy is rather high with his stats (not just GPA). To date, no school has asked for descriptions. Guest immom2kr
I combined the transcript and course descriptions on a single word document and was then able to download it onto the common app---Thank you for the quick responses
Denise in Florida
I wrote out a transcript and included courses at home as well as online courses and community college dual enrollment courses. This was a single page with course titles by year, credits earned and grades. I had a column to indicate which courses were 'outside' courses. I included weighted and unweighted GPAs at the bottom. I then provided a 3 page narrative that described the course description, textbooks, etc for each of the 'home' courses. Organized by school year and using the course titles as paragraph dividers for simple look up. I uploaded both documents as attachments to the homeschool supplement of the common app.
