kathy_overman
I am looking for a program(s) or site for my DS, 9 years old, to do while I work with the other kiddos. He is a great reader and loves science but does not love the computer - so it needs to be very user friendly. What are your favorites for this age group? Time 4 Learning Reading Eggspress Brain Pop Others?
Element
I haven't tried the other two, but Reading Eggspress is a huge hit with my two kids. It's a little hard for my dd but it is perfect for my ds.
prairiewindmomma
My 4th grader has been spending time on Study Island and IXL. IXL is a bit dry, imo, but very thorough in their math topics.
PeterPan
You want games or school stuff? It's pricey, but VP's online, self-paced history classes are AMAZING...
Karis
I second VP self paced History Aha Science Aha Math Easy Tech Facts First If you're doing LFC (Latin for Children) Headventure Land Geo games Educational CD roms Free Language programs - need head set & mic for voice recognition software. You'll get plenty of free time. Books on CD (more fun with a head set)
