Shelly in IL
Hi, I have. 12yods who is interested in getting started in mindstorms. Can anyone suggest where to start and what to purchase if he has never done any programming as of yet? Is it a worthwhile purchase, as they are super expensive. Thanks

Thanks My boys both participate on robotics teams and love playing with the mindstorms. You don't need to have any programming experience. The programming software comes with very helpful tutorials (called the common and complete palettes.) We've had our mindstorms for three years and still use them a lot. Buy them anywhere. I would just search for the best deal. We've gotten one from Amazon and one from Lego Education.
