journey00
In my first post I asked if Easy Grammar 6 would contain enough composition. Somebody responded that it contains some writing but not enough and I would need to supplement. We have been using Language of God. So...my 2nd questions is: What do you use for composition along with Easy Grammar? Thanks
MerryAtHope
When I do grammar, I mainly focus on that and don't do a full composition course. My dd is using Karen Andreola's Story Starters opposite Easy Grammar Plus (which has almost no writing). I followed up my son's year of EG plus with IEW C. Ellie
That isn't a stupid question. :001_smile: Writing Strands and Wordsmith would both be good. Writing Strands is approximately one semester's worth of work; the author assumed that there would be reading/literature studies, vocabulary/spelling, etc., going on the other semester to make up a complete English course (it doesn't have to be a whole semester of one followed by a whole semester of another. It can be alternating weeks.)
