Help me decide! Kindle Fire or Nook Tablet for my mama??

I have wanted to get my mom an ereader for Christmas for awhile. Of course, now they have to go and make the decision harder on me. We tried out the Nook Color last month and she loved it. She loved reading magazines on it and when she saw/heard the read-to-me feature for kids' books she had a major grandma moment (my youngest niece and nephew are 1 and 2) and about swooned at the cute factor. :tongue_smilie: That's a major selling point for Nook. So then Kindle Fire comes out and it can do so much and is $50 cheaper. Hmmm... Now I hear about Nook Tablet. She is a major Netflix fan so that's a huge selling point back to Nook Tablet. Then someone tells me that Kindle has a lot more free books. She likes Christian mysteries and with that being a somewhat limited market I'm not sure how many of those would be free. So which is a better option for her?? :bigear: I really hate these Nook/Kindle decisions. :glare: I just had to figure this out last year for my first ereader and I'm still exhausted from the decision. lol!

I researched, and from what I can find, the Fire will be having Netflix available in a few weeks. Netflix had to develop the app first, though.

I was set on getting the Nook tablet because of netflix. But now I'm really TORN now.

 

I already buy so much from amazon that it makes sense to go with them with a tablet as well.
