JMDRAD
Has anybody downloaded the Kindle edition of the Well-Educated Mind? I read a borrowed copy a few years ago but I'd like to have my own copy now and I am thinking about getting Kindle edition. Do you recommend it? Is it harder to read and study on a Kindle versus physical copy? Thanks!:D

KristenR
I love my Kindle for pleasure reading; but I find that my research and non-fiction reading is easier for me the good ol' fashioned way. I like being able to flip back and forth rapidly and doing that on the Kindle never goes as fluently. Don't get me wrong, I love my Kindle. It just has its place. Munchkins_mama
I love my kindle for regular reading. I find it really frustrating to use it for any kind of studying. I bought my last bible study book on there and eventually gave up trying to use it. There is something to be said for a hard copy that you can easily flip through. PinkInTheBlue
I have the paper version and the Kindle version. I love the Kindle for convenience and simple, straight forward reading. I took notes on paper while reading it on the Kindle. However, as others have said, there is much to be said for non-fiction in paper. Flipping back and forth is something I do much more often. BUT, the new Kindle makes it much, much easier to bookmark and make notes. If having to buy it in paper is a deal-breaker, then get the Kindle. I don't think you'll regret it. It would be hard to decide. No help at all, huh? :) Sorry.
eewaggie99
I bought the kindle version after reading the library version twice. Since I like to read on down times, it goes with me everywhere. It takes some getting used to, and I use a notebook for making notes, but the ease of carrying around hundreds of books makes the e-book worth it. JMDRAD
I like the idea of having it on my Kindle for convenience but I can see how it would be frustrating trying to flip back and forth. I might try it on my Kindle first and see how that goes. I'm running out of space for books in my house. :001_smile: I've been trying to buy as many Kindle books as I can versus getting the paper version. Thanks for the opinions. :-)
