BMW
This evening my 17yog had been using my phone to text a boy that she's been getting to know and gave my phone back to me, then went out with a few other friends for a little while. My phone rings, I notice it is this boy, pick up and say, "Hello!" And he says, "Hello!" And I say, "Hi!" and there's a pause and he says, "Hello." And we do that ONE more time and I say, "Okay, now we've done this three times.... I am Julie's mom..." Click. My daughter came back in and I told her, laughing and she is SO embarrassed! Then we remembered a similar story from a few years ago... her older sister had been using my phone to talk with a boy and handed me my phone back. I was expecting a call from one of my sons right them. The phone rang and I just figured it was my son and started talking to him... he asks me who this is, and I ask him who he is... I thought for sure he said my son's name and then he asks me who I am again, so I say, "YOU are MY son! I AM YOUR MOTHER!" Poor guy. He hung up, too. I am thankful for teen humor... it helps along the way... Anyone else?
