Shelly in VA
Quick question - do you submit these scores to colleges before you see them? I can't decide if it's a no-harm-done situation if you submit them and don't do well, or if it is best to wait and submit the scores only if they are good. I do think it's a bit odd that you have to decide whether or not to submit the scores for "free" before you see them yourself... seems like another way for the College Board to make $, but maybe I'm just feeling pessimistic today. ;) Thanks! choirfarm
Well, I sent them before I knew what he got. However, he had taken several practice exams, so I knew his score would be decent. Plus, it is just extra. We are not applying to any super-competetive schools.
Kareni
My daughter had taken three SAT Subject tests by the end of 11th grade. Since she had not, at that time, finalized the list of colleges to which she would apply, she did not send scores at test time. Our preference, in any case, would have been to wait for the scores to know what would be sent. Regards, Kareni
