kolamum
Anyone taken them for increased chances at pregnancy and care to share what they took? :D
KS_
I dealt with secondary infertility after one miscarriage and after 2 years, nothing. I started taking chaste tree (Vitex) to help balance my hormones and had ds after that. I started using it again when we were trying for #2 and had dd. It's very good at balancing hormones, so if that's the issue, than it probably would be helpful. I'm actually taking it now to help with perimenopause symptoms - my cycles started getting really short and it helped get them back to a normal length. Soror
I have no fertility issues but was just reading about using Vitex(chaste tree) and how it helps increase progesterone(iirc) and can help w/ PMS and infertility. I was going to use some around period time as I have some achiness and I have a friend that had great luck w/ using it for relief of PMS. LMD
I also took Vitex. Mild PCOS and very rare and random ovulation is my issue. It still took a fair amount of time charting cycles and a high dose of vitex but DS2 was conceived in the end. Just be careful about weaning off it if you do use it to fall pregnant. Sudden stopping can cause miscarriage (especially high doses). In fact, if you can see a naturopath to supervise use of it then that would be best. I had taken Clomid through a FS to conceive the first & second and refused to go down that drug road again. Was very exciting to fall pg 'naturally' lol. kolamum
I might see if I can be seen by the Naturopath when she's in town again and get advice/opinion from her on it. :)

I had no trouble with the first three, but we lost the third one early & it's been 5 years with nothing happening. I'm frustrated and heartbroken. Did you take this under the guidance of a dr or naturopath? I'm just curious after the last posters information. ;)

I already knew that my hormones needed balancing/normalizing and so it seemed like a good option to start with for increasing my fertility.
