Shellydon
I would like to watch it while walking on the treadmill, but my kids are always in and out of the room so I want to make sure it is kid friendly. Thanks!
MaryCatherine
There certainly isn't anything they couldn't see, as far as language or dress. But I'd be surprised if kids really paid any attention to it.
Farrar
It doesn't have anything graphic. There's some grown-up content and some romantic lead in moments but nothing I wouldn't let my kids walk past.
sparrow
No, I wouldn't call it kid friendly. There is a lot of adult subject matter.

I'll have to find something else I can tolerate that is safe for them too.

We are pretty much PBS only folks, so anything suggestive is out. Thanks for the input.
Farrar
But the question isn't whether she should let her kids watch it, but rather whether the kids might happen onto anything too grown up when they walk in or overhear bad words, right? In that context, for me it would be fine. I won't watch some things (say, Boardwalk Empire or Game of Thrones or anything on HBO actually) when my kids might come through the room, but I would watch that. ETA: Oh, I see your response. Well, having a kid who would come in and watch is different. NM!

Would that fix the issue?
Julie Smith
For the most part yes. As long as they aren't the kind to ask what I is going on. There are scenes of war, and war injures in the second season.
Xuzi
I can think of a few scenes from episode 1 of season 2 that are pretty graphic (man shot in the head, and another shot in the hand. a few dead bodies, etc.) but as far as images go, those are all I can think of. If you had headphones on I can't think of anything beyond those scenes in that one episode that I'd be concerned about my kids walking in on. Mothersweets
There is also a scene in season one with a man trying to kiss another man - I didn't want my kids seeing that.
sparrow
I have a busy body 9 year old that would be sure to ask what was going on during a certain scene involving Lady Mary. Ask me how I know :glare:. She has a sixth sense about when to get up and get a drink of water at night.
