jackson'smama Posted November 6, 2011 Share Posted November 6, 2011 I have a 7 yo ds. we are early in RSA and he is wanting to do some online games. I have no clue what, if any, might be compatible. We are having a REALLY rough time with the Asian counting. He is not able to wrap his head around 2 ten 2 being two groups of ten and two. If I say use your tiles to make 4 ten 3, it's hard to tell what he might come up with. Sometimes he says that this is b/c he doesn't understand. other times, it's because he's tired or bored or hungry or whatever else he could come up with. I don't want to give up on RS, but I feel like I don't know how to teach it. I'm looking for reinforcement besides the games that come in the book. Any tips?
