MRI results came back

Recommended Posts

For those of you who caught my earlier post. And they said I don't have MS. Yay!

They did, however, say that I have massive infection in my right sinus, and that could have been causing quite a few of my symptoms. So I have to take some of the biggest pills I've ever seen for ten days, and then I should be much better.

That's great news! :D

Good luck with the sinus infection. Hopefully the antibiotics will work, but those can be a real pain to get rid of. :glare:

What's funny is that I didn't have any of the symptoms I normally associate with a sinus infection (aside from the headaches, I suppose) until AFTER I started the antibiotics yesterday. :glare: NOW I have aching nose/cheeks and a runny nose. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

It's a good thing! :001_huh: I'm sorry to have to say that.

DD had what her doctor called an impacted sinus infection when she was 11. The only symptom was a sudden balancing, motor issue and mega headaches. None of the typical sinus infection stuff. She too was put on some serious antibiotics as well as decongestants and he wanted her bedroom to have a humidifier or vaporizer as well as KAZ (liquid menthol) added to the water plus the snorting of warm salt water.

Yep, the dam burst and she had the stuffy, miserable runny nose thing, sore cheeks, etc. But, it was because all of that impacted infection was letting loose...a necessary misery before healing could begin.
