Whereneverever
He has this thing about eating rubber bands. Usually we keep them all picked up. Last night my girls left their geoboards and all the rubber bands out- I believe there were 60. The cat got into them and ate some- we could only find 27 this morning. :001_unsure: We called the vet and gave him a syringe full of olive oil to lubricate things and hopefully he'll pass them. We can't afford surgery if he gets a blockage. :( My girls are so upset that their kitty was harmed. They feel terrible. I feel terrible it happened, too. 2cents
:grouphug: I hope he passes them with no obstructions. If he does start to show signs of distress you should take him into the vet though so he doesn't suffer. The vet may also offer to treat for a reduced fee or surrender of the cat. I won't let him suffer! I just hope he's OK. He's the sweetest kitty. :(

Pippen
I hope he's okay. When my cat was young he'd eat anything--once he got up on a counter and ate about 2 feet of of ribbon. :001_huh: We wouldn't have been able to afford the surgery either. Listen to the vet but whenever my cat had ingested something along these lines he started eating grass and it helped move things through.
