ThriceBlessed
I have been looking over the 2011 Voyages in English samples...and I like what I see. What I dont' like is the *price*:scared::svengo: Is there a cheaper purchasing option out there?? Blessings,
sagira
I hear ya. You could check the For Sale forum here. I got a workbook for just twenty bucks. Check albiris, half.com. Used is your best bet IMO.
ThriceBlessed
Thanks... I will check out those places for used options. Does anyone know if there is a significant difference between the 2006 and 2011 versions???
sagira
Ha, me again :) I checked those, and there seems to be more of a revamp in the writing portion. We only use the grammar portion. You can go on Loyola Press online and see samples of the 2011. I believe you can still see samples of 2006 ones as well. We use the 2006. Grammar is grammar, and dates don't bother me. We use it as a colorful supplement to Primary Language Lessons, and ds seems to enjoy grammar more than ever now (with a little help from Lynne Truss' books). DragonFaerie
I have the 3rd grade books to sell and at the end of this school year, DD will be finished with the 4th grade set too. PM me if you're interested.
NoPlaceLikeHome
VIE 2011 goes on sale twice a year at Homeschool Buyers Co-op. I think in the spring and the summer. Loyola Press did tell me when but I cannot recall exactly when. It is worth asking them.
