tracigirl
Good morning, So excited I got an iPad yesterday on my second day of HS! Any educational apps for the kids or homeschool apps I should get. I downloaded stack the states and rocket math but have not used them yet. Also downloaded level finder (for the grade level of books for the kids) and accelerated reader, but I can not figure out how to get on the accelerated reader page (can't see where to sign up). Today will be day three for me. I am adding a new subject in everyday. So far I am loving it! Thanks for everyone's support!
Dana
I have our Latin CD on it so that's how we do our chants. I've also got solutions manuals as pdfs on the iPad.
Doodle
I have a folder for each subject on my iPad.:tongue_smilie: For art, check out Art Puzzle HD. McGrawHill has several math apps. They are occasionally offered free. I'd wait until then to download those. K12 has some coin apps that are nice.
Doodle
Get the AppShopper app! I check that often for apps that have been price reduced to free!
heidip2p
That is awesome. I hope to get an ipad with our tax return this year. I think they are so cool. :001_smile:

tracigirl
Thanks guys! I am going to check those out now. And creating a folder for each subject sounds good too.
SnMomof7
I think Jungle Coins is the best app hands-down for coins/money counting etc. I reviewed it here: http://appsforhomeschooling.com/2011/homeschool-app-review-jungle-coins/ Is there a specific subject you want to tackle? I have reviewed a lot of apps and am always happy to help with recommendations. :)
