Based on Faith Academy
I think it would be great to teach my kids to make soap, shampoo, cleaners, and what not. We have never done this before but my daughter is a little helper and I think she would think it is fun. Plus it would be a great idea for Christmas gifts if I can find some great ideas. I'd love any home ideas even if they are decorating ideas that you make for yourself. I have no creativeness. I can cook and bake thank goodness. I've heard there is some great ideas for making laundry soap. All ideas are appreciated. Thank you, Christina:)

emeraldjoy
http://feliciaawilliams.suite101.com/washing-clothes-for-pennies-a21874 This is the link for laundry soap. I love this. It is so incredibley cheap, but also cleans the clothes better than anything I have ever used before. It passed the husband greasy clothes test. e

PeterPan
Giving you a little bump, because I'm interested in this too! I found this site http://www.savvyhousekeeping.com/how-to-turn-a-bar-of-soap-into-liquid-hand-soap/ saying to add glycerin to make it flow better and not clump. There seems to be some variation, depending on what soap you start with.
I talk to the trees
I haven't tried this yet, but it looks like fun. Done in red and green wool and tied up with a pretty ribbon, it would be a great gift for the neighbors!
