smilesonly
I know it is providential. What are the guides like? Is mapping included with each level? Fourth grade seems to be hard to fit into-sorta between Primary and Intermediate. Thank you!
Down_the_Rabbit_Hole
I used it for the History of Science and enjoyed it very much. There was some mapping but not much with this course, however I have looked at the manual for Ancients and there was mapping. What history are you interested in...American or Ancient/World? Where you place your child will depend on his reading ability. Ancients is for 4th and older and depending on your child you can do as little or as much as you feel he is capable of. The guides are written out with weekly work. Each week you are given readings, and other work from mapping, looking things up, writing/drawing, and others. You can do it all or some, it is up to you. There is time line work also. By the time you finish the year you have a great notebook (at least we did when we finished the History of Science).
