ktgrok
I want to give my friend a family Bible for her wedding gift. The kind with pages to record births, deaths, etc. Something nice that can be personalized with their family name. I've found a few, but they were children's Bibles. I don't know if I should just order a Catholic Bible off amazon, then take it somewhere local to be personalized? Where would I take it to have that done?? Any thoughts? Should I forget about personalizing it? Oh, and she is Catholic, which is making this harder.

Sugarfoot
We have a nice one. I can run upstairs and look at it for you. Okay, it's this one. http://http://www.catholicbiblestore.com/newcatholicfamilylifeeditionbible-blue.aspx Ours isn't personalized, but our local Christian bookstore and our local trophy shop will do that for a small fee. It's a beautiful bible with lots of room for family information. The first page is a " Holy Matrimony record," so perfect for a wedding gift! I like the Ignatius one linked in the post above, too.
