JumpedIntoTheDeepEndFirst
How about the AFI List: http://www.afi.com/100years/movies.aspx'>http://www.afi.com/100years/movies.aspx I would just highlight cut and paste to your word processor. Or go to the PDF page and print that: http://www.afi.com/docs/100years/movies100.pdf
katilac
What genre? No genre, just any of those "100 best films" type lists. Although genre lists would be fine as well. I liked some of the ideas in Rafe Esqith's book about teaching through film, and I want to add to his suggestions. My girls like all kinds of movies - they just surprised me by loving all 3 hours of Fiddler on the Roof, so I don't want to limit our horizons to current or typical fare. They can't take TOO much violence or sadness; Fiddler had scenes of Jewish oppression, for example, but they were not graphic or extended. And the father forgave his dd in the end, so they were able to sleep that night :tongue_smilie: How about the AFI List: http://www.afi.com/100years/movies.aspx'>http://www.afi.com/100years/movies.aspx'>http://www.afi.com/100years/movies.aspx'>http://www.afi.com/100years/movies.aspx I would just highlight cut and paste to your word processor. Or go to the PDF page and print that: http://www.afi.com/docs/100years/movies100.pdf There's one, thank you! I'm finding most of the lists get all wonky when you try to cut and paste.
