katnorman
I am just wondering how logical it is to reuse workbooks :001_smile: I have 4 kids and I just started having my oldest use a workbook window with all of her workbooks. She gets frustrated with writing with a dry erase marker and then having to show me before she erases it to move on. It slows her down!! Then I'm thinking, well what if my other kids don't even use these books and I made her do this for nothing. I'm also concerned about her handwriting as she's mostly just writing with a dry erase marker and not with pencil and paper. She's writes pretty sloppy with it. So, should I just let her write in her workbooks and buy new for all the other kids :D
Aubrey
We use our wbs up for the most part. It's just easier, they get beat up even if they don't get used up, & it makes the kids dread a subject worse than they would anyway. I've got some that are expensive or that are easy to do on blank paper. Those, we save. The rest? It's just the cost of having more than one kid, kwim? Like buying more than sandwich. :001_smile:
tomandlorih
I do copy some things but for the most part.. buying a new workbook is cheaper than copying. I've heard of those covers but I personally would find them extremely frustrating so wouldn't buy one for the kids.
katnorman
Thanks! I don't want her to get frustrated with doing school, so we're ditching the workbook window and just using our books :D Wow, I feel so much better!!
