I had planned on using BJU, but ds is really enjoying IEW thus far, so it feels like a waste to buy BJU when half the book is about writing. I'm going to finish out all the grammar portions of 3rd grade BJU this year, and I bought a couple of ebooks in the Scholastic sale. I'd like to start researching for next year. Thanks! littlebug42 Posted September 27, 2011 Share Posted September 27, 2011 We are now using the Advanced Language Lessons from SWB. My daughter loves it and I am very happy with it as well. I will admit that I don't much use the actual scripted portion of the teacher's guide because I am just not a fan of the scripted style but the exercises and the way things are presented is great and Sweet-Pea really seems to be retaining it all.
