Jay3fer
At the risk of this question getting lost in this thread... This might need its own thread:Does anyone know of a way to color the pages in the ebooks? I'm thinking of my K child who is not a fan of coloring but likes colored pages. Sure I can color them for him...but I don't want to. Any ideas? I have an application, PDFill Free Tools, which can convert any page of a PDF to a jpg, which you can then import into a coloring program like Paint on a PC. I then let my dd fill in the areas with colour using the paint-can tool. It's not perfect - sometimes there are "gaps" in the lines and the paint spills all over the entire painting. I have also scanned colouring pages so she can do them on the computer; we also did this with the ancient mesopotamian puppets from History Pockets. I probably won't, but even if I use a little out of most of them, it's worth the cost. :iagree:That's exactly how I see it also. I spent $29 for just one Evan-Moor book I bought my son last week (granted it is in color) and this week I bought 49 Scholastic activity books for $39 for both my kiddos, which we have started using already. Definitely worth the cost for us also :)!

threeturn
Love this sale even if I hate the website. Two things I did last year to help me use the materials I purchased (some 20 books): I didn't print most of the books. Instead my computer will search inside PDFs so I simply use the search function on the computer, enter a keyword of what we are studying, and any materials pop up. This works pretty well. Hope it can help someone else. I mostly printed the math activity books that I bought. Instead of binding them together as books I printed one-sided and broke them down by topic. I then put the pages in my math curriculum teacher's binder behind the appropriate topic. So when we got to fractions, all the fraction ideas from the various books were right there. It has made is super easy and fun for us to use what I bought. HTH, Pam

Guest Blubel49
The Scholastic site is incredibly slow, but I was able to get 10 of the $1.00 publications for free with the code. Now that's a great deal! It took over an hour to get my cart loaded so you need to be patient. I ordered from the $1.00 sale last year & love the e-books, esp. the Hands on History, History Comes Alive, Easy Make & Learn Projects, and the Early Themes books. I also get the analogies as well as math skill books. We are reading Shakespeare this year so I got the Shakespeare mini books.
