Guest jamieleigh
I am about to start homeschooling my older daughter (almost 5) in a couple weeks. I am using Sonlight and still a little undecided whether she'll be kindergarten level or still pre-K. She has K readers, but most of the other stuff is pretty much pre-K (though Sonlight said it can be both). Any pointers on that I'm welcome to... But, my main question was how to discipline my own mind. I LOVE books and blogs and information that pertain to my life. But when I see tons of it, I get overwhelmed and my mind can't seem to organize any of it. I want to sharpen this skill in myself. Any suggestions? WTMCassandra
This was exactly why SWB wrote The Well-Educated Mind. Check it out--it's a great resource.
