Parrothead
I woke up today and it was 58*F! We've an expected high of 68*F. It will be lovely to wear a light sweater today. Has anyone else cooled off?
Woodhaven
It's cooled off a little here. Last night's low was 60 degrees, but today's high will be 88 (or so they predict). Much better than in the upper 90's!! Yes, I too love the fall! :001_smile:

elise1mds
No. No, it hasn't. :glare: I shall now be insanely jealous of your good fortune... in the nicest way possible, of course.
Peela
We just seemed to finish autumn a while back- had a bit of heavy rain for a week or 2, a bit of cold weather for a nice change, and now its spring already. Now spring is beautiful- but what happened to winter?
thescrappyhomeschooler
Yes! It has cooled off. I had invited the neighbors to swim yesterday, and the water was warm, but the air was so chilly we didn't last too long in the pool. Bummer! I don't like when summer is over. DawnM
How LOVELY! I am quite envious. I think it is still 90 or so here. I hate the heat when it is also humid. Dawn
4everHis
We cooled off considerably. It's low 50's at night and we've had high 70's into low 80's today. AAAHHHH........I love this weather! I should add that we are in Michigan. Edited August 23, 2011 by connib

wy_kid_wrangler04
When I picked dd up from Volleyball practice the radio said it was 55 at 7am but its going to get to the upper 90's. I am waiting for fall temps. Yesterday we got to 99. Go figure, in the winter we get about a week where we usually have windchils of -65. Extremes here for sure! Onceuponatime
We slept with the windows open last night. My kids think I'm a magician. I predicted it would be cooler this week. Of course the fact that it is always cooler the first week of school has nothing to do with it. ;-)
mrbmom77
It is definitely not cooling off here in Texas! I'm so jealous. Enjoy. :001_smile:

melissel
The high today is expected to be 80 here, and the night was beautiful and cool. I love it!!! Fall is by far my favorite season. Amira
We're supposed to be 25 degrees cooler on Saturday than we will be tomorrow. I am so ready for this summer without an AC to be over. We've not had an AC lots of other summers, but we were in places where the temperatures didn't park in the upper 90s for weeks.
Pamela H in Texas
how rude! Temps all week are 103-
PinkInTheBlue
No, not at all but I'm ready for it. Our 10 day forecast is still upper 90's/feels like 105. Definitely not Fall. :(
brehon
I think I hate you. :D Only 2 more days and we'll beat the all time record for days over 100*. Really, if we don't beat the record at this point, we're just a bunch of slackers. Yeah, I hate you. [huffs to self -- 58*, honestly...]
ccm
Chucki, I'm taking care of my in-laws in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire and we're experiencing similar temperatures. I'm sitting in a very warm room now with my mil (she cranks up the heat!) while my fil is out on the lake rowing. I am looking forward to a beautiful day! 8circles
Well, the cool-down has started but we aren't as pleasant as you yet. No more A/C necessary, highs in the 80's, downright cold some nights. I hear thunder threatening at the moment. Enjoy your beautiful weather! Mrs.MacGyver
51 degrees this morning at 0645, sunny and beautiful! DD the grump actually woke up, said it smelled like Fall, and then smiled!!! :D I love it up here this time of year. I am definitely a sweater girl and I love the seasons! I loved being stationed in Hawaii when I was younger, but I missed the seasons desperately. Sometimes you just want to wear jeans without sweating! I hope this weather starts spreading down to all of y'all in the south!
justamouse
Not that much, but a BIG difference from where we were. I wore jeans yesterday and last night outside I was cold! Joy!!!

UnsinkableKristen
I am personally willing the temperatures to start dropping here. At this point, all I want is morning temps in the 60's.... that's not too much to ask, right??
Carrie12345
Last week, I ran out of coffee. The car read 52* as I drove to the convenience store. livingnlearning
The birds are starting to gather here and I dread winter. Alte Veste Academy
This summer has been ridiculous. I've lived here all my life and I do believe this is the hottest summer I've ever experienced. It's been brutal! You are correct! It is definitely true where I am, between Waco and Austin. It is the hottest summer on record, with the most days over 100 and the most consecutive days over 100! And we still have the rest of August. We've still got 104+ forecast for the rest of this week. We're lucky to see 80 degrees before the sun comes up. It will be a hard record to break. It is miserable here and I am so very jealous of the OP and anyone else who has evidence of Fall! I'm so irritated that the city pool closed because school started back up. It should be against the law to close the pool if it's over 100! :D I cannot wait for that first crisp, fall morning! It's my favorite season, short as it is here. AMEN! twoxcell
We just started to get some hot weather here. Last Sunday was our warmest day of the year at around 94 degrees. KnitWit
No cooling off here either! Temps have been in the upper 90's to 100* with *feels like* temps well over 100 for WEEKS now. We didn't even have a spring! We skipped straight to summer! It really has been a long one. I am SOOOO ready for cool, crisp fall.

lailasmum
Its getting colder at night about 5 or 6 °C and misty in the mornings and it feels and smells autumnal first thing. CAMom
It's in the mid 80's in So. CA. But, tomorrow, I will be in Las Vegas where it will be a breezy 110*.:tongue_smilie:
Soror
It has cooled off but it isn't cool yet. Today it is supposed to be a high of 90, which compared to 100+ it is a dream. Last week we had a few days in the mid to low 80s and it was a dream, you can go outside without instantly sweating. Our humidity is also extremely high around here but has broke a hair- right now the humidity is *only* 73%~
Aurelia
It has not cooled off at all here. Supposed to be 105 today, although right now, it's a mere 98. I'm told it should feel like Fall by mid-October. :ack2::crying::svengo:
