stripe
I found a copy of Introductory Algebra 2 by Russell F. Jacobs from 1969. He is listed as being a Mathematics Consultant at Phoenix Union High School System in Phoenix, AZ. I realized I thought I had a book by Harold Jacobs (whose geometry book I think I used in hs). I was rather amused by the mix up. Has anyone used this? I've got a Dolciani alg 2 book to sit down and compare it with, but I'd be interested in any thoughts. Tullia
:lurk5:Would this be the same person who writes the math by design series? http://www.amazon.com/Algebra-Topics-Design-Russell-Jacobs/dp/0918272378
stripe
Yes, I think so. In the intro to the Alg2 book, he says he has studied the SMSG material. I will be studying it more. I am trying to compare it to Dolciani.
