Jryanbass
We have just started homeschooling, and i am doing 100 easy lessons with my 1st grader. Problem is, he took a formal kindergarten class at a church school last year, and he already knows the first half of the book! Do you think its a problem to do 2 lessons a day until it becomes more challenging?
Mrs Twain
I have done 100 Easy Lessons with all three of my kids. I think it would be fine to do 2 or more lessons per day. The beginning of the book is pretty easy. Toward the middle it gets more challenging.

Jryanbass
Awesome! He could probably do 3-4 at this point, but I had been stopping him. We will probably keep doing 2 unless he wants to do more.
ChandlerMom
Just make sure he is blending properly (not saying each letter sound staccato). That is a big part of the 100EL method and is REALLY important for later on. With dd#2 I had to fight the influence of "Word World"!! Also, for my kiddos there were certain points where things suddenly got harder and they struggled -- near the quarters of the book. If you hit bumps, don't be afraid to step back a few lessons and work from there. The lessons *should* feel easy for the student.
